MURDEROUS ASSAULT.
CHARGE AGAINST A FRENCHMAN. Received November 26, 8.30 a.m. PARIS, November 25. The charge against Paul Cebron of committing,a murderous assault on Dr Herbert, a Canadian, who lives in London, but recently visited Paris, in proceeding. Dr Herbert lent Cetron £360 while visiting the Uebrons at Hois le-Roy, and was afterwards shot in the head, though he eventually succeeded in escaping. The doctor stated in evidenoe, yesterday, that Cebron invited him to bis villa to secure bis money. A large empty box was found in a room adjoining the scene of the outrage.
