CHINESE IN ENGLAND.
LONDON, November 23. An investigation respecting the importation of a score ot Chinamen disclosed the existence ot seventy Chinese laundries in Liverpool and the suburbs. Altogether there are two thousand Chinamen in Liverpool. Mr Gladstone, Secretary of State for Homo Affairs, is puzzled to know if the Aliens Act can bo made applicable to their exclusion.
