TARANAKI PETROLEUM.

NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 25,
The Taraoaki Petroleum Company have decided to start a fifth bore in the locality of the Birthday well. A syndicate repiesented by Mr John Petrie, has arranged to put down at least ten bores in the district. Mr Petrie sßys he has information that two refioerien will be ereoted ia Taranaki within two years, irrespective of any action by the Taranaki Petroleum Company. ; Foreign capita! will be largely interested in some of the syndicate's properties.
