CHINESE ON THE RAND.
A DISORDERLY MASS MEETING
Received November 25, 4.17 p.m. JOHANNESBURG, Nov. 24. At a disorderly mass meeting in the Wanderers' Hall, Johannesburg, summoned at the instance of the Mayor, a resolution, supported by Archdeacon Furse and the Rev. Burnett, Wealeyan minister, was oarried by a majority demanding the pub liuation of Justioe Buokrell's report on Chinese labour and the evidence in connection therewith, Messrs Oressw'ell and £R. L. Outhwaite, of tile Executive of the Transvaal Natiounl Association, held a counter meeting in Market Square, and jt was resolved that the proper remedy for the Chinese trouble was repatriation ou the expiry of the existing contracts.
