SUICIDE IN A HOTEL.

OHRISTOHURUH, Nov. 23. An inquest was held, to-day, touching the death|of James Gillies Molltvrai|lb, who died suddenly at The Rothei'fieid Hotel yesterday evening. Medioal evirloucs was given that death was duo to poisoning by prussiojacid, and a verdict was returned that the man died from poison self-administered. There was found on the body of the deceased a piece of cyanide of potassium sufficient to kill five men, and the doctor said he did not think it wfß right that snob a poison icould be purchased freely in a photographers shop when Restrictions were imposed in, tho case of the sales of poisons at a chemist's shop. ihe Coroner promised f.o communicate with headquarters on the subject.
