AT the Opening Wool Sale at Wellington on FRIDAY, the lGth NOVEMBER, 1550 bales were catalogued. There was a good attendance of Biitish, Continental and American buyers, as well as local operators. The highest prices realised were ll?d for 6 bales half-bred, brand MAKOBAU, and ll|d for 9 bales cross-bred, brand P.M. over TE WHIT 1 on account of Mr P. H. Wood, of Turakina, and Messrs Pike and McKenzie, of Masterton, respectively.
