DISTURBING A SCHOOL.
MEMBERS OF A SCHOOL COMMITIEE FINED. By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, Novembar 207"" At the Polioe Court, to-day, two members of the Otakou School Committee were charged with insulting a teaoher and disturbing toe school. On <;be latter charge both were convicted, William Ward being fined £2 and £4 6s 6d oosts and Thomas Bayne £1 and ooats. Ward had gone to the soboolhouse in the morning afier a'tangi and remained throughout the day. Bayne, aggrieved at his daughter being sent home because she would not work, went to the school in- an angry and exoited mood and wanted the teacher to fight.
