FORTY-ONE PEOPLE DROWNED.
Received November 20, 8.9 a.m. NEW YORK, November 19. The passenger steamer Dix sank after a" collision in Puget Sound, Washington. iforty-oue persons were drowned, and thirty-nine saved.
