THE CAPE RAIDERS.
CAPTURE EFFECTED BYSUBINSPEOTOR ADAMS. Received November 19. 8.30 a.m. CAPETOWN, November 19. The capture of the Boer freebooter Ferreira was effected by Sublnepeotor Adams, with fifteen mounted riflemen and a few residents of Upington. The scene of the arrest was Wifctesand, seventy-flve miles west of Kimberley., Ferreira iwaa unarmed at the time. An extraordinary marching feat was performed by the Cape Polioe and Cace Mounted Rifles <vho travelled 150 m*les over a waterless oountry in sixty-eight hours.
