A NEGRO DESPERADO'S DEATH. JNEW YOIIK, November 16. A negro desperado named Harris, who killed five and wounded a dozen people at Ashville, lb North Carolina, escaped into the woods. He was pursued by bloodhounds, and when bailed up refused to surrender. Atter firing all his cartridges he folded his arms and awaited the volley from his pursuers. The man was killed.
