SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS.

Matters in connection wiih the Sabbath Sohool and the Young People's work oooupied the attention of the sitting of the conference of the Seventh Day Adveutists, yesterday. Mrs Fauluhead reported on the doings of the Sabbath Sohool during the past year,, and Miss Johnstone submitted a report on the Young People's work. The reports showed that there, had been a further development of the Sabbath Sohool in its various phases during the past year. Arrangements were made for Sabbath Sohool conventions, and the furtherance of the work during the coming year. The conference sat for about two hours in the afternoon, whtn reports were reoeived from various committees. The report of the Committee on Nominations for the office-bearers of the various departments of r the conference was adopted. The Committee on Credentials and Licenses granted several credentials to ministers and licenses to preachers. The conference deoided to spend £l5O in connection with the translation of literature into the Maori language for circulation among the natives In the evening an address was delivered by Pastor Cobb on the Bible principle of Sabbath keep, ing. The Conference was brought to a oonolusion yesterday. The oamp will break up after Sunday.
