CAPTAIN PRINGLE MEMORIAL.

Members of tho lata 4th and Bth New Zealand Contingents residing in South Africa will ldarn with deep and sincere regret of the death of their respected captain, which sad event happened on August 11th, after a short illness, at Masterton, New Zealand. It has been decided by the nfembßra of those corps re Biding in New Zealand to ereot some suitable memorial to one ! whose memory we nil wish to cherish. There being many members of the 4th and Bth in this country, who no doubt would like tu subscribe to so oh memorial I shall be pleased to receive any subscriptions (address Bank of Attica, Litd,, St. George's street, Cape Town), and forward saoje to New Zealand.
