ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

AUCKLAND, November 12. inquest on the body bf Mrs Alice" Taylor, who was killed by foiling from a tramoar, on Sunday, the verdict of the jury was that deoeased died from of the brain, caused by an accidental fail from a car. The jury added tbe following riders— (1) lhat all oars shouli be provided with electric bells; (2) that conductors should announce the approach of oars to each stopping place. HOKITIKA, November 12. James Graham, a young man*em« ployed at Perry and Hegan's|>awmill, had his right leg completely crushed this afternoon, owing to a logffalling oulhlm. INVERGARGILL, November 12. E. R. Anderson, late of Cargill aod Anderson's Glenbam and Teviot Stations, went to bathe iu the Mataura, on Sunday morning, and was seized with oramp and was drowned.
