For the concluding day of their annual meeting tho Taratahi - Carterton Racing Club were again favoured with beautiful weather. The uttendHnce cf the publio was large, and tho racing was vory interesting. The sum of £6,372 was put through the totalisntor, u* comparod with £3,522 for the seoond day last year. For tho meeting tho amount invested on the machine nas £12,920, as asrainst £10,143 for iHSt year'B tneptinp, being an i.icirease of £2,7(7. Liberator and Oasis showed tho way to the straight, where Royal Blue and Wind moved up, and Variation ran into third position.
