Volzke put up a world's record, cutting through a 20-inch log in 48 2-si-eo. The North Island under-hand chopping championship was won by J. Pout, North laland champion. The two-men sawing competition watJ won by Johausen and Clinton. All the Highland events were won by Watty Sutheiland, of Wanganui.
