SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS.
The annual camp-meeting of tbe . Seventh Day Adventists was continued on Saturday. In the morning the service was conduoted by Paster Olaeni President of the Australasian Conference, who spoke on tbe forward movement of the Denomination in Australia. The afternoon eerviae was attended by a large congregation. Tbe President of the New Zealand Conference, Mr S. M. Cobb, conducted the servioe. On Saturday Sabbath School was also fheld, and was attended by about twenty classes of children. Pastor Oady, missionary from Haiti, spoke on the Denomination's work in the West Indies at the' evening • service.'' v ■ ; On Sunday morning the regular early morning service as well as tbe district meeting and ministers' meeting was held. Mr Johansen, general field agent for the bock work, aonduotedjtbe morning ,ser« vice. /- At 11 a.m. the work of the Conference was continued. The roll of delegates was called, and two new churches, one at Petone and one at Woodville, were admitted into the Denomination. Tbe annual address of the President was followed by Interesting addresses by Pastors Oady and Olsen on the Foreign Mission wort. The Committee on Plans and Recommendations submitted a resolution of thanks and gratitude to God for blessings during tbe pBSt year; also a recommendation to support one labourer in the Foreign Fields from the funds of the • Oonfeience. The latter motion, after some discussion, was adopted, and additional funds were pledged from tbe Conference to the support of a native worker in the Island Fields. Tbe afternoon service was largely attended, and included many visitors from Maaterton. Pastor Paap conducted tbe service, and spcke on "The Second Advent." In the evening an interesting address waß given by Pastor Hannig, Secretary of tbe KeHgioua Liberty Aeeociation, on "The Signs of the Coming of the Lord." The Conference will be continued ■to-day. ■
