ACCUSATIONS AGAINST A CONSTABLE. By Telegraph—-Press Association. DUNEDiN, November 10. Maurice Roaohe, who appeared in the dock of the Polioe Court; this morning, with a oat on the baok of hia head, alleged that be was assaulted with a baton by Constable Young, whose oohgh he mimicked. Be alleged farther that the oonstable had assaulted bim with handtjuffs. Mr Graham, S.M., ordered enquiries to be made from Drßlomfleld as to whether the out was likely to be ontHed by a fall or not. Personally, be doubted the constable's, statement that the out was caused by the man striking the kerb.
