AUSTRIAN BUTCHERS' REQUEST - DECLINED.

Received November 7, 10 p.m. VIENNA, November 7. A deputation from tbe Austrian Butchers' Association asked the Minister of Agriculture to permit the importation of Australian and American meat, owing to a shortage resulting from the closing of the Servian frontier. Tbe Minister declined to grant the request. An indignation meeting denounced the selfishness of the agrarian interests.
