By Telegraph—Press Association. DARGAVILLE, November 5. Arthur Connell, aged 28 years, was killed this morning at the Tangowahine sawmill. He was struck on the back of the ear by a piece of timber flying off a saw. CAMBRIDGE, November 5. Mrs Helen Halley, aged 57 vears, was found dead in a kitchen at her residence yesterday morning. Deceased had been ailing lately. NELSON, November 5. The body ot a lad named < Moynihan, who was drowned in the boating fatality at Boulder Bank yesterday week, was found floating out of the harbour by the Harbour Board dredge. At tbe inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned, with a rider warning parents of the danger ot letting young lads b 'o in canvas dinghies and canoes on the sea unattended by elders. CHRISTCHURCH, Novembers. A.young man,,named James Louden was killed at the South Bridge railway station this morning. He was driving a loaded dray into the station yard, and it is supposed that he fell in jumping off the dray, and that the cart passed over his back. He was removed to the goods van in order to be convoyed to the Christchurch hospital, but died before the tram started. He was about twenty years of age, and was in the employ of Mr Thomas Dowling, of the Oakleigh Estate. It is believed that he has no relatives in the colony. A young man, named William Davies, was accidentally shot in the back yesterday at Sumner, a bullet from a friend's revolver striking him and becoming embedded in his lung. He was taken to the hospital, and was reported to be doing well, though it was impossible to extract the bullet.
