Following report and quotations are cabled to-day from London: Thero is a general improvement in prices. Stocks aro light and held in few hands. Quotations: Canterbury mutton 4Ad, Nupicr, Wellington and North Island 4^l; lamb, first sjd, second Did ; beef, hinds 4d, fores 3d.
