INTERVIEWED BY REPORTERS. Received November 1, 7.49 a.m. NEW YORK, October 81. Eleven reporters have bad an interview with Mrs Eddy, founder of the Christian Scientists, who was stated by the New York World to be dying ot cancer. They describe her as tottering, and almost inarticulate. Mrs Eddy stated that she does not consult a physician, but relies only on God. (The World alleged that she was visited secretly by a cancer specialist from Boston). a A CATEGORICAL DENIAL. 2 Received November 1, 9.16 a.m. SYDNEY, November 1, The head of the Christian Science Church in Sydney, in reply to enquiries regarding the New York World's statements as to Mrs Eddy, lias received from the manager of the Christian Science Publication Committee at Boston the following cablegram: " Story false. No cancer or other disease. Mrs Eddy well; drives daily; no impersonation."
