Tivo waggon loads of wool, the first of the season, oootrining in all fifty bales, left Glenside station to-day, to be ruiled to Wellington, v'lhe opening match of the newly formed Rifle Club is to be fired on ' Thursday, November ]st, when it is hoped that all nlembers will put in an appeaiance. Firing will commence at one o'clock punctually. The Club this year promises t6 be a good one and under the care of the Hon. Seoretary, (Mr Neville Willotighy}, 1 shall not be surprised to Bee some champions to the front ere the season is over. Shearing will oommenoe at Messrs .fain and Admiral Run on Thursday, November Ist. A now woolahed has been erected in the place of the one destroyed by tire two years ago. Permanent improvements have been effected at the houße and • outbuildings, and the station is now one of the bst in that part, and reflects great credit on Mr J. Sutherland, the manager.
