THE ATTACK UN THE TREASURE ESCORT.

The authorities were warned of the intended attack on the Treasury carriage, but they considered the escort was sufficient. The Terrorists oonoealed themselves in a beersbop until an applewoman signalled the approach of the carriage about noon. By means of bombs and Jbullets the Terrorists kept the police and gendarmes at bay for ten minutes, enabling the woman to escape with the booty. Several of the robbers were arrested, one of whom committed suicide. Six civilians were wounded and one killed. Three gendarmes were wounded. Thirty students and workmen have been arrested on suspicion of being conoerned in the robbery. JNow twenty Cossacks guard the postal vans.
ST. PETERSBURG UNIVERSITY CLOSED. STUDENTS ADOPT A REVOLUTIONARY RESOLUTION.
Received October 30, 11.8 p.m. ST. PETERSBUKG, Oct. 30. The authorities have closed the St. Petersburg University owing to four thousand students adopting a violent revolutionary resolution.
