A MAORI "STUCK UP," By Telegraph—Press Association. WAIROA, October 29, A Maori was " stuck up" by an armed man at "VVaihua Hill, on the Napier Road, and relieved ol his horse, saddle, and bridle. The man was captured by the police on Sunday. His name is Leonard Easter, and he nineteen years of ago. He was ' armed with a five-chambered revolver, and a pea pistol fullv loaded. Whon arrested, Easter was travelling to town with the intention of sticking up single wayfarers as he came along. Accused was brought up in court this morning, and remanded for a week. .Farther developments are expected.
