ARREST OP THE BOGUS CAPTAIN. BERLIN The bogus captain who created a sensation at Kopeniuk has Leon arrested at Rixdorf. LATER PARTICULARS. THE ROBBER A NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL. GLORIFIES IN THE EXPLOIT. Received October 28, 4.36 p.m. BERLIN, Ootober27. Particulars of the Kopeniok affair are now available, and show that tbe robber was a cobbler and a native of Tftist. iiis name is Voigt, and he was identified by means of a photograph. He arrived at Rixdorf, having in his possession one hundred pounds. He glorifies in tbe exploit. He froe'y admitted being tbe perpetrator of the robbery. Voigt was never a soldier, but a rather notorious criminal, having served sentences aggregating years for thefts and forgery. (It will be remembered that a man wearing a captain's uniform stopped a file of soldiers and induced them, by showing a forged military order, to accompany him to Kopeniok Town Hall, where he arrested the Mayor and took four thousand marks from the safe. He ordered the soldiers to conduct the Mayor to the prison at Berlin, and disappeared with the money).
