MATCH AGAINST VICTORIA. By Telegraph— As9ooiatiou. Received October 25, 9.G p.m. MELBOURNE, October 25. There was fine weather for the match between the New Zealand and Victorian bowlers. The green wbh in good order, but the length, 140 ft. heavily turfed, was unfavourable to the New Zealauders, owing tu their being unaccustomed to long lengths. The following are the scores:—Reid, Osmond, Smith and Payne (New Zealand), 28; Stephens, Wardrop, Locke and Wixmao (Victoria), 13. Mowlem, Rankin, Waddell, and Dall (New Zealand), 35; Wallace, dill, Woods and Russell (Victoria), 14. Lefevre, Walters, Buchanan, and McLaren (New Zealand), 20; Morrison, Parkes, JVJnnro, and Howe (Viotoria), 24. Bee, Mao Gibbon, Taylor and Gilles New Zealand, 13; Stephens, Pasooe, Bentley and Smith (Victoria), 42. Bastings, Scott, Keast'and Sneddon (New Zealand), 1G; Harrison, Tatohell, Dunham and Neill (Victoria), 36. Arkhnrst, Ledingbatr), Hancock and Bonskil (New Zealand), 11; Tbaokeray, Bennett, Leconilliard and Oooper (Victoria), 36. Blaok, Manning, Gardner and Wheeler (N.Z.), 26; Malone, James, Blanob, and Kelly (Victoria), 24. The New Zealanders will Adelaide on Saturday afternoon.
