RIFLE SHOOTING.
THE OPaKI CLUB. The Saturday members of the Opaki Rifle Club jjheld their third trophy competition on the range ou Saturday last. Ten shots each were fired at the 600 yds and 700 yds ranges. The following scores were registered:—
THE FAIRVIEW CLUB. The following handicaps have been framed by Mr W. Winalade, handicapper, for the trophy sbootiug competition (200 and 600 yards) next Thursday: —R. McGregor scr, O. McGregor and J. T. Dagg 4, E. Harford aud H. Vaughau 6, T. Meredith 8, G. R. Sykes 9, H. Gphhs, W. Galyer, R. J. Dagg, J. Stempa, and !. Chamberlain K.', R. Graham, 5. Liddington/jand A. Vaughan 12. The other members of the club, who are desirous of taking part in the competition, will receive 18 points.
