Received Ootober 16, 12.57 a.m. PARIS, Ootober 15. A serious riot ocoarred at the LongobamDs racecourse to-day. The public, considering that a raoeflwas not started fairly, burst the barriers, and raided end burnt the Pari Mutuel booths, stealing £1,200. The riot led to a stampede. Many people were injured.

Of sixty arrested, seventeen were charged with assaults on the police, looting, and arsou. The troops assisted to quell the disorder.
