MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
MASTER'ION—SATURDAY.
(Before Mr W. P. James, S.M.) Harry Hall, a basbfeller. of Te Wharau, was fined 40s, iu default fouiteen days' imprisunment, for having made use of indecent language in the bar of tho Club Hotel on Friday erening. The defondant was represented by Mr 0. A. Pownall. A man, charged with having been drunk, was remanded for a week for medical treatment. Edward Crusty Peers was ohargqd on the information of Stock Inspector Jeukinson, with having failed to suppress rabbits on his property at Opaki, after due notice had boon given. A fine of £5, with costs £1 Bs, was imposed. Mr B. J. Dolan appeared for the Department. A similar charge against William Chamberlain, of Wooilvillo, waß dismissed. Mr B. J. Dolan appeared for tbo Department and Mr O. A. Pownall for the defendant. JRiobard Ellis, was ohsrged, on the information of E. G. Matthews, with having stolen a bioyole valued at £lO, the property of Messrs Jonkinson and Co. Mr D. K. Logan appeared for the informant, and Mr 0. A. Pownall for the aooused. Acoused pleaded guilty, and was remanded for sentsnee.
