The left, oonsiating of 35, advocates immediate passive resistance; the oentre group of 100 accepts the Viborg manifesto, and considers thai: it ivouM be advisable to delay passive resistance, and the right group regards the Viborg manifesto as a political mistake. The difference has not caused seoession. THE- BRITISH DEPUTATION. VIOLENT THREATS. Received October 12, 8.20' a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, October 11. ®'The proposed presentation of the memorial to the late Duma by the British deputation is still causing agitation here. It is expected that a procession with ikona and banners will make a demonstration against the deputation on its arrival. The "Black Hundred" is violent in its threats. PUBLIC PRESENTATION ABANDONED. Owing to the misrepresentations and attacks the British deputation has abandoued the idea of a public presentation of the memorial to the Duma, and requests the St. Petersburg oommittee to arrange a private priesantition to the Duma. Only one or two members of the deputation proceed to St. Petersburg. WHOLESALE ARRESTS MADE. TROOPS GUARDING THE STREETS AT LODZ. Received October 12, 8.30 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, October 11. Wholesale arrests have been made of suspects in Lodz. Strong detachments of troops ate guarding the streets. "BLACK HUNDRED'S" SINISTER WORK. Received October 21, 9.50 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, October 11. Emissaries of the "Blauk Hundred" in Finland are plotting to bring about outbreaks in order to render the position of M. Gerhard, Governor-General, ia?posssible. The assailant of General Dumbsdze has been arrested.
