FISCAL REFORM.

Received October 6, 4.42 p.m. LONDON, October 6. Mr J. Chamberlain, in a letter read before tho Committee of the Tariff Reform League, states that fiscal reform haa now been adopted as the programme of one of the great parties of the State, and has seoured the support of a vast body of opinion amongst the electors. Mr Chamberlain intimates that ho has been advised by his medical attendant not to resume work for the present.
