"THE WORLD'S PICTURES."
The World's Picture Company concluded their Masterton season in the Town Hall, last evening, there being a fairly large audience. The company supply a thoroughly attractive and up-to date programme. I'he pictures were very distinct, and practically free from flicker. The street soenes in China, Scotland, Paris and other places aro most interesting and were warmly applauded. "Tit for Tat," in whiob an entomologist was pinned to a cork in tbe same manner aa he had htherto tieated butterflies, was a partioulary fine coloured film. Probably the best "Chase" picture was "A Chase for a Wig," and evoked roars of laughter. Among the other fine films shown wore "A Five Cent Trolly Ride," "The Customhouse Search, M "Everybody Works but Father," "Soenes on Every Floor," "Tbe Hoodoo Motor Oar," "Ou Night Duty," "The Dam Family," and the naval manoeuvres off Brest. The piotureß were warmly applauded throughout. The singing of Miss Louie Whitfield nnd Mr Brookes. Pas muoh appreciated, and they were deservedly apulauded. The entertainment from beginningjto'end was both enjoyable and instructive.
