Y.M.C.A. CRICKET CLUB.
ThfIY.M.O.A. Crioket Club held a social in the Association's Rooms, last evening. Mr P. L. Boilings occupied the chair, and there was a large attendance including several members from other orioket olaba in Masterton. : Xhe Chairman delivered a short address, during which he referred to the Club's career In the cricket field last season. He expressed the hope that they would be uiore successful this year and.win the championship. The following toasts were honoured —"The King," the Chairman; "Y. M.CJ.A. Cricket Club," Mr U. E. Parton—Mr Lett; "Various Clubs," Mr A. J. Parton—Messrs N. Williams and J. Berry; "President and Vice-Presidents of the Club," Mr A. E. Rees—Mr A. Donald; "The Liadiea," Mr Chamberlain—Mr (J. D. McEtven; "The Press," Mr J. B. Nicol. The toast of the health of Mr A. P. Fielding, custodian of theY.M.C.A., was also honoured. Musical items were rendered by Messrs N. Williams, E. Burrows, P. Brown, J. B. Nicol, J. Parton, Ir» Danigll. Mr U. Inns presided at the piano. At the conclusion of the gathering a vote of thanks was accorded to ttie Social Committee and Mr 11. Inns.
