Received October 2, 11.55 p.m. LONDON, Ootober 2. The Standard, commenting on one of the late Mr Seddon's warnings, urges Great Britain to make good her position in the Pacific, and wisely prepare for events. She must not ignore the possibility of diplomacy some day changing; the relations with Japan.
