COURT LOYAL ENTERPRISE.
QUARTERLY SUMMONED MEETING. The quarterly summoned meeting of Court Loyal Enterprise A.O.P. was held, last evening, in tbe Foresters' Hall, Bro. J. Kitchener, 0.K., presiding. Ur Cook wrote accepting various members and their wivea on his medical list. Bios. Fear, Lewis, Brown and Scott wrote with refer- ] enoe to transfer from one medical ; list to another. The Secretary of Court Sir George Grey (Wellington) wrote acknowledging reoeipt of contributions on account of Bro. Payne. The Secretary of Court Waitarapa A.O.F. (Greytownl wrote stating that it was tbe intention of some of their members to come to Masterton for tbe purpose of playing a euobre tournament, and asking what date would suit. It was decided to reply stating that Thursday, October 25th, would be a suitable date. One candidate was proposed for membership and duly initiated. It was decided to support the establishment of « New Zealand Technical University, with free scholarships, as a national memorial to the late Right Hon. R. 3. Seddon, and to vote the sum of two guineas towards tbe funds. Bro. Duncan was appointed delegate to represent tbe Lodge at tbe triennial conference to be held at Marton next December, and was instructed to nominate Bro. H. Snapoott for the position of District Junior Beadle, and to ask the country Lodges to support his nomination. It was decided to apDoint Bro. V. G. Darrooh secretary for tbe Lodge, the appointment to date from the resignation uf Bro. Duncan. It was deoided to play a card tournament with members of the railway staff, on October 12tb. Gush receipts for the evening amounted to £54 18s 6d. . *'
