All the meeting of the Wairarapa f». and A. Society on Saturday, a memo was received from Mr Arthur, embodying railway concessions as a >*esult of the conference between the Traffic Superintendent and tne Society. At Bbow time utook from -Palmerston North by the 8.15 a.m. > train will,reauh Masterton at 1.10. D.m., and a special traiu will be 'run on to Caiterton at once with it on October 22. Stock from Waiipukurau, Fapatawa, and ;intermediate statiocs by the •!. 15 a.m. tiain from Waipnkurau can be taken from Woodville to Carterton by. a special tiuin at 11.30 a.m., arriving at Carterton about.'3.3o .p.m., P ro * vided that not lees than twelve trucks are sont, otherwise the stock vill require lo gSSgStfl l to Woodville at 2.15 p.m., -arriving at Carterton at 6.0 p.m. on October 22. On 'October 23 (morning tfftor show), a train taking stock will leave. Carterton at 5.45 a.m., connecting ■wiih-the 6.33 a.m., train from Masterton to Woodville. This will take the Palmerston North stock or any for the Wnngnnui line. A special train will leave Carterton at 8 j a.m., taking the stock for all, stations up to Nopior, inclusive, arriving at Naoitir about 0 p.ta. A ; horse will be provided at Gurterton for shunting of trucks ,as required, b«fore and 'after the show." The fcraffio was not considered sufficient to v?arrant extending excursion tickets to Wangauui. The excursion tickets from Manawatu and Hafobe's Bay would be exteuded to October 31 to give visitors time to look round the district. If sufficient notification ba given to the stationmaster at Carterton, stock up to, soy, sis trucks for south of FeatherSton can bo tnkRU by the tralu leaving Carterton at 630 p.m. on the second day of the show. Any stook for stations botweon Featheraton and Carterton could go forward by the special leaving C<n't er * ton at 5.20 p.m., hot it was doubtful if stock oould be loaded for the 5.20 or 6.30 p.m. trains No concession could r ba mad ain railway freights ot show exhibite, the regulations controlling which were now liberal. Certificates for show exhibits given by sooretnries of shows must be Bigned by tbem personally or by their agent (duly authorised in writing).
