PLAGUE IN INDIA.
EXTERMINATION OF RATS,
Received September 24, 8.25 a.m. CALCUTTA, September 23. The extermination of rats in 60 towns in Punjaub has been attended with extraordinary suooess. The results of the investigations prove that there is a close connection between rata and the spread of plague.
