Tbe latest accounts concerning tbe disastrous typhoon at Hongkong state tbat ten thousand lives were lost.
The increased death roll is due to the loss of the whole of the fishing fleet of six huudred junes. Active measures are being taken to relieve the sufferers. Ihe Nord Deutscher Lloyd Steamship Company has given six thousand marks to tbe relief fund, and' tbe Chinese in San Francisco have cabled ten thousand dollars.
