WAIRARAPA P. AND A. SOCIETY.
ANNUAL HORSE PARADE,
The annual horse parade of the Wairarapa and Bast Coat P. and A. Society was held, at Carterton, on Saturday, there being a fair attendance of settlers and breeders. Mr H. S. Moss, the secretary, had all arrangements complete, and the parade passed off satisfactorily. Altogether fourteen boraes were showa, including two thoroughbreds, one trotter, two oarriage stallions, six draughts, and three ponies. Following is a list of the horses paraded:— Thoroughbreds.—"Mauser, W. Corlett; Saracen, W. 0. lully. Trotters— Berlin Abialiah, R. Ross. Trotting or Carriage Stallions.--Boston, S. Liddington; Gold xMine, G. Aporo. Draughts.—Ronton Robin, J. H. August; Laird of Soarnish, R. Tilson, junr.; Prince of Wales, J. V. Reed; Brilliant Boy, R. Palloon; Uarry Owen, A. Praser; Federation, J. FallooD. Ponies.—Kalipha, S. Liddington; Indian Prince, 0. Reform, B. Phelps.
