OBITUARY.

MRS R. MAXTED. The ioatb occurred at her residence in Bannister Street, at 5.30 p.m., yesterday of Mrs Maxted, wife of Mr R. Maxted, of Masterton. The deceased was a daughter-in-law of the late Mrs Maxted, seur., who died last November, and a daughter of the late Mr D. Cameron, who died in Marlborough about four years ago. Mrs Mitchell, of Cole Street, Maitertou, Is a sister of the deoeased. The late Mrs Maxted was 35 years of age, aud was born in Napier. She had been a resident of the Masterton district for about fire years, and had been living at the Taueru up till a few a months ago. A widower and live young children (all girls) are loft to mourn their loss. The funeral will leave hei late residence at 2.30 p.m. on Sunday.
