A BIG RAILWAY DEAL.
Received September 20, 8.32 a.m. NEW YORK, September 19. Mr C. H. Harriman, Chairman of tbe Union Paoiflo Railway Company, with others, is negotiating for eight million sterling worth of shares in the Baltimore-Ohio railroad, which was recently bougbt by Mr Kuhn Loob from the Pennsylvania Railroad Company. According to the New York Tribune, the deal is practically accomplished, and will enable Messrs Harridan and H. C. Friok to make the Union Pacific the first Trans-contin-ental road.
