COMMERCIAL.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report regarding their Masterton stook sale field yesterday. They report as follows:—in sheep we submitted a fair number of lines,'consisting prinoipally of hoggets. Cattle were yarded in large numbers. Bidding at auotion was dull, bat we succeeded in disposing of a good number of the lines privately. We quote:—Sheep: Store wethers IGa 9d, hoggets 15s 6d, poor sorts 9s 3d. Oattle: Pat bullooks £7 10s, fat heifers £5 10s, store bullocks £5 2s 6d, empty oows £3 7s 6d, 18months heifers £2 2s, 2-year steers £3 6s, 2% -year steers £3 15s, springing oows £4 2s 6d. Pigs: Weaners 10s to 16s 6d.
