NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHUROH, September 13. The Golf Championship Meeting closed, to-day, at the Shirley Links. A Bogey Foursome Haudioap was played this morning, when A. F. Roberts and C. 0. Cripps (8) and B. S. and H. 0. Smith (3) tied for first place with 3 up each, and the play-off will take place on the Duuedin licks, the four players coming from that town. In the afternoon a Medal Handicap was played, the best results being:—K. Duncan, Weliingtou (6) 72; S. K. Sleigh, Christchuioh, (8) 78; Dr Gow, Onristobuioh (6), 78. The O'Rorke Vase was awarded to the club team of four making the be&t gross soore in the Medal Handicap, anfl was won by Wellington with 34.9. Others competing were:—Dunedin, 357; Ohriefcohuroh A, 362; Timaru, 376; Christchuroh B, 377; Obristchcroh C, 379.
