ST. PATRICK'S DAY SPORTS ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting uf the members of the St. Patrick's Day Sports Association waa held, in the Foresters' Ball, on Saturday evening. Mr G, F. Day presided, aud there were about thirty members present. An apology for absence was received from Mr G. Wataou. Messrs W. Redmond t -A. A. Stempa and J. Stempa wrote resigning membership. The resignations were accepted. Tbo annual balance-sheet, which was adopted, eh owed the receipts to have been £283 Is 8d (subscriptions £47 15a Gd, eutranoo fees £6O 188, gates £62 13s, conoert £6 7s Gd, fixed deposit receipt withdrawn £65, privileges £9 IDs); expenditure. £245 J6a 3d (prizes £124 12s Gd, trophies £ls, rent oi! park £lO 10s, secretary £2O, printing and advertising £i9 10s 6d), leaving a credit balance of £37 5s sd, plus -£4 4s additional received in subscriptions sinee the issue of the balance sheet. Messrs O. A. Tabateau and J. H. Pauling were elooted members,of the Association. It was decided tbat in future a rota should be kept showing the attendances of the members of the Executive Committee at meetings. Officers for the ensuing term were elected as follow—Patron, Very KBV.'iDean MnKenna; President, Mr G. F. Day; Viae-Presi-deuts, Messrs J. 0. MoKillop and J. Oreelman; Treasurer, Mr M. 0. O'Oonnellt Executive Committee, Messrs A. IJaugbey, P. J. O'Leary, B. J. Dolan, H. J. O'Leary, E. G. Williams, W. A. Hogg, F. Haughey, E. O'Sullivan, M. Kerins, J. O'Dowd, W. L. Falooner, J. Cress, J. Pickett, J. O'Meara, W. F. Day, J. Bourke, J. Gill, J. B. Pauling, Cutten, Kiely, B. Oulloty, and T. Parr; Auditors, Messrs B. J. Dolau and P. J. O'Leary. Mr T. Duncan resigned from the position of aeoretary, and Mr 0. A. Tabateau was elected to the position at a salary of £2O per annum with 5 per cent, on all subscriptions collected. A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr G. Watson, the retiring President, for the services he had rendered to the Association. It wan decided to hold the annual sports on Thursday, Maroh 14tb, 1907, owing to St. Patrick's Day falling on a Sunday next year. The Secretary was instructed to engage the Town and Drill Halls for a conoert and dance on' the same evening. The President, Treasurer, and Secretary were authorised to sign all cheques on behalf of the Association.
