MASTERTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
MEETING OF MANAGERS. The mocihly mooting of the Managers of the Mastertcn Technical Sohool was held last eveniag. There were preseufc—Messrs E. I'eist (chairman), W. H. Jaokson, J. B. Keith, and \E. H. Waddington. Leave of absence was grante 1 to Mr J. Ooradine. The Treasurer reported a debit balance of £79 is 2d." Mr S. Smallwood wrote applying for a quantity of material for use in the plumbers' olaas. The matter was left in Mr Coradiue's hands to make the necessary purchases. The Seoretary was instructed to write to other Teohuieal Sohool9 in the colony and enquire what assistance they received from their respective Borough Councils in connection with gas supply for the classes. The Secretary was instructed to have agreement forms printed whereby parents of children holding free places in the School would undertake to pay the fee for the term if their children fiiiled to make the necessary number of attendances to earn the Government capitation.
