OBITUARY.

MRS W. 0. JUDD. The death occurred, at Masterton, yesterday morning, of Mrs Mary Ellen Judd, wife of Mr W. 0. Judd, of Wellington, and eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs VV. Judd, of Villa* Street, Masternoa. The deceased jras 30 years of age, and was born in Victoria. She came to Masterton with her parents when she was three years of age. She lived iu Mastorton for about 18 years, and about nine years ago married Mr W. C. Judd, her cousin. Since then she has lived principally in Wellington, although she paid occasional visits to. Masterton. the deceased recovered from' an illness abuufc a month ago, and came to Mnstertors for a change of air. In this town sht. contracted scarlet fever, but though she recovered paralysis of the brain supervened causing death. The late Mrs Judd was very popular in Masterton, and prior to her marriage she was an enercetiu member of the Methodist Church, belonging to the choir and various other organisations connected with the Church. A widower and three children are left to mourn their lots. Nun:erons messages froic all parts of the Nortn Island were received yeEterday by the relatives of the";deoeaßed. ' The funeral will leave the residence of Mr and Mrs W. Judd, Villa Street, at 2.30 p.m., to-morrow.
