A team of seven players from the Maatertou Y.M.O.A. Chess Club journeyed to Carterton, on Tuesday evening, and flayed an equal number of the Carterton Chess Club. The maton resulted in a win for the visitors by eight games to four. The Masterton players were hospitably entertained by tbe Carterton Club.
