CYCLONE AT BOURKE.
BUILDINGS WRECKED. LARUE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE DONE. Reoeived September 12, 5.33 p.m. SYDNEY, September 12. Early this morning a cyclone struck Bouvke from the south-west, lasting a minute. It was accompanied by lightning, and a waterspout, which lasted five minutes. A large amount of dampge was done. The Salvation Army Barracks, a large building, was levelled to the ground, while the Caledonian Hotel, a brick structure, was , wrecked, the inmates having a narrow escape. Several other buildings were badly damaged. THE VICTORIAN BUDGET. Reoeived September 12, 10.30 a.m. MELBOURNE, September 12. M.r Bent's Budget contained no startling proposals. The railway revenue was a record, being £275,000 above the estimate. THE MINING TROUBLE AT MAITLAND. "LOCK-OUT" NOW GENERAL. Received September 12, 9.44 a.m. SYDNEY, September 12. The "lock-out" in Maitlandis now general.
