A STEAMER ON A REEF.
By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, September 10. Newa Taviuni states that the B.s. Atua ran ou a reef in Apia Baroour when leaving for Suva. One of the engines would not work, and the steamer went up on a reefi'or 15 feet. It is stated that thesteamer was leaking, evidently having several plates damaged. The Marino Board enquiry into the accident was to take place at Suva on September sth. Tho Atua is duo at Sydo ey to morrow.
