MURDERS HIS WIFE AND TWO
CHILDREN
Received September 9, 5,5 ii p.m. LONDON, September 8. Robert Rogers, an upholsterer, livingfat Kendal Rise, has murdered his wife and two children. He attemped to kill another of his ohildreu. and also his brother and his sister-in-law with razor. A fearful struggle took place Defore the murderer was disarmed. The act is attributed to the murderer having a delusion that he was faced with poverty and starvation. His brother recently arrived home from New Zealand. Rogers was brought before the Police Court and remanded.
